What is ePay Direct Deposit?

Do you find issuing a cheque to be quite a drag? From stuffing the envelope to purchasing the stamp and then finally making the trip to the mailbox can take a ton of unnecessary time. Oh, if only there was a way to simplify this process! There is! (Like you didn’t see that coming). With PaymentEvolution’s ePay direct deposit service, you can rid yourself of all the pain and cost that comes with issuing a cheque. Whether you are paying a vendor, contractor, or employee, it can be done with just a click of a button.

How it works

Paying your employees without issuing a cheque is possible and just at your fingertips. When you run payroll, you can simply choose to pay an employee directly vs. cheque. Once you have finalized your pay run, the employee will then see the funds directly in their bank account.  Your employees will be so grateful to not have to go to the bank to deposit their cheques.

What about payslips?

What if those got sent to the employee electronically as well? Now they can. Through PayChequer, your free online employee portal, employees can use their unique logins to view their payslips electronically and on any device. The best part – there’s no extra work for you as they get automatically sent to each employee once the pay run has been completed.

What else is there?

Probably one of the most popular and loved features that comes with setting up direct deposit is the automated source deductions. Have you ever had to pay a late fee to the CRA or Revenu Québec because you forgot to remit in time? With ePay direct deposit, you no longer have to think about your remittances! Whether you’re remitting to the CRA or MRQ, we have you covered.

Business Payments is another loved feature that allows you to pay your vendors electronically. Using your accounting integration (fully supported with Kashoo, QuickBooks Online, and Xero), you simply create a bill and add your vendor as a payee in PaymentEvolution. PaymentEvolution will automatically pull up your bill and with just one click you can pay your vendor directly- and trust us, they will love you for this.

Where can I get ePay?
